Four days of free hockey at Leaside Arena from 4 to 7 August 2026. The first full week camp Open Ice has run under its own brand.

What your child needs to bring
- Nothing but themselves. Full equipment is provided and fitted on site
- A water bottle if you have one
- A completed registration form and waiver, which we send once a spot is confirmed
What happens on day one
Campers arrive at 8:00 for gear fitting and a skate assessment, then take the ice in their group. Day one is also media day, so a photographer is on site.

Tuesday 4 August
Media day
- Arrive 8:00 for gear fitting and the day one skate assessment
- Groups set: First Stride, Crossover, House League Ready, Rep and Returning
- Ice 8:30 to 10:00, dryland, free lunch, ice 1:00 to 2:30
- A photographer is on site all day and press may attend
- Mike Wilson is acting head coach today
02 / 04
Wednesday 5 August
Skating and edges
- Arrive 8:00. Same two ice sessions and the dryland block
- Skating and edge work dominates the morning for every tier
- First Stride works on standing, gliding and getting up without fear
- Puck introduction in the afternoon for the groups that are ready
03 / 04
Thursday 6 August
Puck and passing
- Stickhandling with the head up, then give and receive under pressure
- Shooting technique first, accuracy second
- Life skills workshop in the dryland block
- Campers who have moved up are regrouped

Friday 7 August
Small area games and Keep Your Gear
- Everything from the week applied in games the campers actually want to play
- Team photographs on the ice
- Keep Your Gear graduation: every camper leaves with their full set
- Pickup 3:00
