Open Ice Initiative Inc. is an incorporated not-for-profit organization in Ontario founded in 2025, governed by a volunteer board of directors and run by a twenty member Headquarters Team. Through Open Ice Camps it gives children who have never played hockey free ice time, professional coaching, and a full set of equipment they keep for good. It runs free camps across Toronto arenas, is expanding across Ontario, and has drawn national and local media coverage.
